Well, I'm back again to amaze you with my insightful comments on my literary journey. I know it's exciting, but don't forget to breathe.
Anyways, I have finally made significant headway in my outside reading book and will be talking about that in my second post later tonight. But first, I shall talk about meeting the author this week...
I found it very interesting meeting the author of Until They Bring the Streetcars Back, Stanley Gordon West. He was really nice and very interesting to listen to. It was also really cool hearing about how he came up with the idea for the book. He said that the pranks were based on things that happened at his high school, but that the story and characters just came to him as he was writing. Mr. West was really quite funny and had several witty answers to questions that I really wish I could remember word for word so I could write them here.
So those are my impressions from the book club meeting where we met the author. More to come on the actual book very shortly.

Post Number Three
Like my original blog titles?
Well I definitely forgot to post on time, just like I knew I would. So I'm blogging late and hoping that it still counts. I still haven't read any more of my outside reading book, so I unfortunately still can't talk about that.
However I did finish the Agatha Christie book I had been reading last night after my blog post. It was called The Labours of Hercule Poirot, or something like that anyway. It was pretty good, but I read it over the course of several weeks, so by the time I finished it, I'd forgotten the beginning. Plus it was a collection of several separate stories, so it made it harder to remember them all. But it's a good thing that I finished it since it's due at the library tomorow, along with about ten other books that I never got around to reading. And then there's the book on converting your car to an electric car that was due over a week ago that I still haven't finished reading or returned...I should probably get to the library pretty soon.
But first, I must go finish the rest of my homework, so I shall now say farewell. Until I blog again...

Post Number Two
Well, I suppose I should write something so I don't completely forget about it this weekend. It has been a very busy week for me. But now it's the weekend, so that's good. I can finally sleep more than five hours! Yay!!! But anyways, I haven't really had time to read my outside reading book yet other than the fifteen minutes we got in class, so I can't really say anyting about that. And I don't really have a whole lot to say about Black Boy either. I guess it's ok. But I don't like how it jumps around a lot and you never know exactly how much time has passed. And I also don't like the graphic parts because I have a really weak stomach so it makes me feel slightly sick. But compared to the books we usually have to read for English, it really isn't that bad. Well, that's about all I have to say for now. I have to save some thoughts for my post tomorrow...
