Well I haven't really been very good about blogging over winter break, but, in my defense, I've been very busy. Not only did I go on the band trip to Disney World over New Year's, but it was also KICKOFF yesterday!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! So now we know what the game is, and the crazy 6-week build season has begun! This year's game is called Overdrive, and it's quite complex. I'm rather disappointed though that there isn't really a way to build a defensive robot as most defensive actions are illegal. So Zerkit will actually have to be offensive. Oh well. Should you wish to learn more about the game, you can watch the kickoff webcast at http://robotics.nasa.gov/events/2008_frcwebcasts.php. I would highly recommend it. But if you're in a hurry, feel free to skip to the last few minutes of the webcast and just watch the part about the actual game.

Florida was also awesome! I got tan thanks to the fact that I forgot to wear sunblock on anything but my face every single day! And it was WARM! Quite a change from the cold and snow here at home. However I was so incredibly tired by the end of the trip that I don't fully remember what I did. I do remember sleeping in the bear show in Magic Kingdom though. That was wonderful.

Now I must quickly finish my other homework and go to bed so I can be ready for school tomorrow! :( I should probably blog about my book too...
